Boating starts at Surinsar Finally the three year effort of the people is successful. Surinsar Lake, bordered by forest covered Shivalik hills and with an island in the middle of its holy waters, is as picturesque and as rich in flora and fauna as Mansar Lake – its twin, and is situated at about 13 kilometers from it. This Ramsar Site is quite popular among people for short outing.
